Jo-Ann Robert

President

Jo-Ann is a natural entrepreneur with over 35 years of financial industry experience.  She works one-on-one with business owners to bring them PEACE OF MIND, either through transforming businesses to compliant organizations and/or through implementing strategic plans for change, growth, and expansion.

Personal:   Seasonal, professional musician with spouse, entertaining audiences at high end restaurants and 5-star resorts. 

Gina Graham

Senior Accountant

Gina joined us in 2009 as leader to our financial services corporate tax client base.  With over 35 years of accounting experience at the international level, Gina is the go-to person, highly qualified to provide personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory services.  She develops strategies, formulates solutions and capitalizes on tax optimization opportunities.

Personal:  Gina and hubby built their dream home and a cottage on their property where they enjoy spending time with Sophie: their dog and our team mascot.

Cameron Ross

Accountant – T1 Taxation

Cameron compliments our team as a qualified accountant with his background and extensive experience, in accordance with IFRS & ASPE, in Audit & Compliance.  His interest in finance and accounting started in High School where he won the LLP CA Award. Thereafter, he obtained his Advanced Accounting Diploma, his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and completion of the Canadian Securities Course. 

Personal:  Cameron prioritizes family and friends, is highly active in multiple outdoor activities and enjoys playing his guitar.

Sean Robert

T1 Taxation – IT Technician

Sean’s interest started in computer science where he received his college education and worked in the large corporate IT industry.  His IT background is essential to our day-to-day operations!  Sean made a career change 6 years ago and directed his interest and learning in Taxation and Small Business Operations where he has performed and gained extensive experience in all areas of bookkeeping and T1 Taxation.  Sean’s ongoing courses are helping him gain a better understanding of all facets of business as he works towards receiving his MFA-Business Growth Specialist Designation this year.

Personal:  Sean enjoys video editing, competitive gaming and is a talented musician who enjoys jamming on acoustic, electric and bass guitar!

Patty Buttler

Accounting Technician – T1 Taxation – QB Pro Advisor

Meet Patty, our virtual Certified Q.Books Pro Advisor, Facilitator, Coach & Trainer!  Patty, formerly self-employed for 20 years as owner/operator of her own accounting practice, brings to the table her 30 + years of advanced bookkeeping, training, and software expertise.    

Personal:  Patty is a self-branded explorer, world traveler, cultural adventurer and is perfectly content to also just settle in with a good book!

Rakel Gray

Workflow Account Manager – T1 Taxation

Rakel holds a vital role to the success of our business.   She makes the rather complex process of managing automated workflows among our high-performance team an empowering experience!  Rakel, an honors student with over 7 years of extensive accounting experience, has attributes and competencies that have led us to appoint her also as a leader in Facilitation/Training for staff and clients.

Personal: Rakel is fulfilled spending quality time with her loving family and adopted pets including her latest family addition, puppy Maverick.

Janice Cross

Office Administrator – Bookkeeper

Janice works with us on a part-time basis.  Her niche is organization in office management.  She performs a variety of bookkeeping tasks for the organization and acts as our back-up for clients requiring assistance with remote and online cloud bookkeeping services.

Personal:  Janice is semi-retired and prioritizes her life with balancing her spiritual walk and time with family.

Lisa Tommy

Front Line Public Relations Liaison – Office Administrator

When it comes to excellence in customer service, Lisa has over 30 years of frontline experience in sales & service, public relations, marketing & business management. Lisa is your first point of contact who is hands-on and instrumental in screening your requirements, guiding you through our virtual and/or manual process and connecting you to the right person to service your need.

Lisa learned and understands the pains & successes of a business owner’s side.  She comes from a family of three generation Ski Olympic Champions.  She had the best mentor, her father, who successfully created and operated a large man-made ski resort, golf resort club & for over 50 years ran high end sporting goods & retail franchise stores in Ontario & Quebec

Personal:  Of course she loves skiing, golf, traveling Europe and has a Professional Medical Aesthetician background where she operates a homebased spa.
